I finally have some after pictures of a the project I mentioned last week.
First let me remind what you the space looked like before......
And now it looks like this.....
The striped rug from Crate and Barrel was our jumping off point for this room.
We added in some cool blue and warm orange with our neutral walls and furniture.
The window seat was custom built and adds storage and tons of extra seating.
The orange ottomans provide storage too.
We had fun shopping for accessories.
These are a few of the photographs taken on "date night" by the client.
The TV was placed above the fireplace and surround sound was added, along with more lighting.
The fireplace surround was painted white along with the brick. It really brightened up the room.
The orange chair in the corner was purchased from an estate sale.
It was painted a fun color and reupholstered in a timeless houndstooth.
This was a great project to work on since the client was open to changing
just about everything in the room. And change everything, we did!!
I spent the summer wrapping up projects and entertaining my kids.
The kids are going back to school next week and I am I ready to get back to work!

ReplyDeleteIt looks so nice Andrea - really more open and bright. I really love that built-in bench seating in the window - that is a dream feature of mine to have one day. How do your clients like the storage ottomans? I've been eyeing them up and wondering how people like them. I think they are so practical.
