E-DESIGN WITH OPTIONS

Before school started, I worked hard to finish up several projects I was working on.
One of them was an e-design for a client in Atlanta.
She and her husband had recently moved there with their four children.
They were looking to spruce up a few rooms in their home.

The first priority was the family room.
This is where it is headed.....

I suggested two large sofas to accommodate the entire family.
There is already a beautiful fireplace that serves as the focal point in the room.
I recommended that they flank the fireplace with wood and iron shelving.
One low one for the TV and one tall one for some balance on the other side.

Working with an e-design client can sometimes be a challenge
since I am not able to see the space in person.
With local clients, I love to peek around the home to get a feel for their personal style.
Since I can't do that with an e-design, in addition to asking quite a few questions upfront,
I also offer several options.

When the plan was finalized, there were options for the mirror,
the ottoman and the wall paint color.

I am already starting on an e-design for the next two rooms in their home and
I hope to have some after photos in the near future.

I have been bad about photographing my local projects this summer.
I am going to try to set up a time to visit a few homes
I have worked on recently to get some good "after" shots.
I know I always love a good before and after and I definitely owe you guys some "afters".

Off to play nurse to my middle son.  Poor guy has been sick for two days.
Luckily, he's a great patient.

  5. Wythe Blue is one of my favorites. I told myself that our new house would have a different color palette but I'd love to use this color again.
