You've Come a Long Way, Baby!

My sweet baby girl broke her arm last January.  She fell off the bars in gymnastics.  She broke both bones in the lower half of her arm and was in a cast for three months.  She spent another two months in a brace and attending physical therapy twice a week.  She was such a trooper the entire time.  She never once complained and she continued with all of her normal activities, minus one arm.

Here she is showing off one of her three casts.  (sorry for the blurry picture)

Here she is exactly one year later at a gymnastics meet.

We couldn't be more proud of her.

Check out those pointed toes.

Our little champion!

It takes such courage to get up in front of a crowd of people and perform a routine all by yourself.
I see her maturing into a confident, caring, beautiful young girl right before my eyes.

Speaking of courage, here's a couple pictures of my son performing "Magick" by Ryan Adams in the school talent show this past weekend.  I tried to upload the video, but I'm a bit technically challenged.

During dress rehearsal.

He added the sunglasses for the real performance.

These brave little souls inspire me everyday.
