MY FAVORITE DAILY READ

My son received this book as a gift last year......

Amazon sums it up nicely:  Devotions written as if Jesus is speaking directly to a child's heart.

Except that it also spoke directly to my heart.
My son and I started reading it immediately and we would read one devotion each night at bedtime.
I found it so inspirational, that one night last summer, I took the book to bed with me.
I ended up reading all 365 devotions that night.

There is an adult version of the book also.

However, I found that the simple language and message
in the child version of the book was exactly what I needed at that time in my life.

Reading the devotion first thing in the morning would certainly be a great way to start the day,
but since things are sometimes a little crazy around here in the mornings,
we like to end the day by reflecting on the message.

I am getting ready to order several more copies to give as gifts.
It would make a great addition to an Easter basket.

Thanks so much for all the kind comments this week.
They really do make my day.
I hope you all have an amazing weekend.

  1. Oh my goodness.... we love these books too! Ashtyn reads the child version at the dinner table each night and it has spurred such great conversation. Love the adult one too. Can't recommend them enough!
