so kindly asked me to guest post while she is busy moving into her dream house. Cassie is such a sweetheart and I am so blessed to have gotten to know her recently. She is such an inspiration with her positive outlook and her creative talent is quite inspiring as well.
I am so excited for Cassie and her family and I can't wait to follow along as they transform this house into their home. Be sure to stop by Cassie's blog to check out a few of my savvy (and some not so savvy) ways to bring some life back into an old home.
Today also happens to be one of my best friend's 40th Birthday. We are taking her out to lunch, then to get her nails done and then who knows where we might end up. I do know that it will be a fabulous time and I'm so glad I get to celebrate with her.
That's Laura on the right (isn't she cute?)
The rest of the weekend will also be fun-filled. My children's school has their annual fundraiser,
The Hullabaloo on Saturday. The weather is supposed to be beautiful and the festival is always a great time. Sunday, my husband and I are going to take our oldest two children to the amusement park, King's Island. My son and I went once over the summer and he has not stopped talking about all the roller coasters. I'm kind of a big wimp when it comes to roller coasters, so I'm going to try to be brave.
However, don't expect to see me on this one.
This is really more my speed.....
Since I'm giving you a play by play of the weekend, after a long day at King's Island, we get to go see my two boys playing flag football. They had their first game last week and it was something to see.
It looked a little like this.
That's my youngest trying to snap the ball to my older son,
fist attempt didn't go so well, but they soon got the hang of it.
They were a little too excited about the mouthpiece they had to wear.
So there you have it. Should be a fantastic weekend. Hope yours is too!
It was love at first sight when I saw your beautiful home over at Cassie's! I'm following along now. I need to see more!
ReplyDeleteHi there! I'm your newest follower coming over from Primitive & Proper. How have the painted tiles in the bathrooms stood up over time? We have some funky color schemes in our 1950s bathrooms and I keep tossing this idea around until we can afford to gut three bathrooms.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you have a fun weekend planned! Off to check out your post at Cassie's!
