What is wrong with me??????
These are the fabrics I went to pick up. They are going to be used in a new client's bedroom.
I'm working on the design now and I hope to have it finished up by the end of the week to show you. Aren't they pretty together?

Technically I didn't buy the fabric on the right, my friend did and it is the leftover from this project.
I did buy the striped fabric on the left. Love the natural colors and I'm such a sucker for stripes.
I can't seem to get enough of blue and I'm crazy about this design.
I have absolutely no idea where I am going to use this, but once again,
I'm a sucker for stripes and I love the colors.
I tend to stockpile fabric like some people stockpile toilet paper. I suppose if there were ever an emergency, we could wrap ourselves in fabric and keep warm or in an extreme emergency, it could even be used as toilet paper. I said an extreme emergency.
If I can't seem to find a use for the extras I brought home today, I may be listing them for sale on my blog. I may even incorporate them in a design board for some inspiration. Stay tuned.
Anyone share my fabric obsession?
Ooh, I love stripes too. I also love the blue jewel fabric, I bought that for my dining room chairs originally but then changed my mind. Great choices! :)
ReplyDeleteguilty!!
ReplyDeletei'm a fabric fanatic!!

ReplyDeleteeh,i am not one to be talking. when was the last time i sewed.... maybe last spring? but i have hoards of fabric i had to pack and take with me.
I love love love fabric! I especially love the blue print one you found. Lucky for my pocket book there are no fabric stores where we live now. ;)
ReplyDeleteYou've got some beautiful fabrics! I have a slight addiction to fabric, too! I haven't sewn in years....just starting out, but I cannot pass up a pretty fabric. I think it would be fun to make a quilt one day.
ReplyDeleteI love your choices! I don't blame you for not being able to resist. I can't wait to see how that bedroom turns out.
ReplyDeleteTo funny Andrea!! They are all so pretty but I am really lovin that first combo! Martina
ReplyDeleteHa! Too funny! So excited for you and your new work! Funny where a blog will take you :). I know you must be having a ball!!
ReplyDeleteI think I have some of that affliction, too but mine goes one step further. I buy a beautiful fabric and love it so much I can't bring myself to cut it up and use it! What if I mess up and waste some of it?? What if I use it all up?? It's sick. So sometimes the fabric just sits and I see it occasionally in the pile and I think how beautiful it is. BUT, I PROMISE I won't do that to the fabrics you got for me. I told you that you're my accountability for getting things done.
ReplyDeleteWe share the same obsession! I actually have a yard of that same blue & white fabric but it wasn't the right blue for my current project....so I'm looking for a new home for it (pillows perhaps!) Love that striped one too (the last one)......big fan of wide stripes!
ReplyDeleteI can never leave without buying too much...great picks!!
ReplyDeleteThis is hilarious! I do the same thing. The good thing is I always have a lot of choices ;)
ReplyDeleteLove that floral inspired print...so so pretty! It's going to look awesome in your client's bedroom.
ReplyDeleteI do love fabric (like I love throw pillows) but I try to rein myself in somewhat.
