I see this kind soul tried to subtly set me straight with her comment.

How great! I just did my first Mod Podge project today...what a coincidence!
Too bad I didn't catch on. Oh well, good thing I can laugh at myself, right along with the rest of you! Well, now that I've gotten that off my chest, let's move on to the madness.....I can't seem to stop Mod Podging things. It's a bit addictive. My kids might wake up with something mod podged to their face if they're not careful. I exaggerate.
This is my latest victim...a cute little wooden "e" I scored at the thrift store for $.75 (my daughter's name happens to begin with an "e")
And here it is after I attacked it with a little Mod Podge.
I had the fabric leftover from making this pillow.
Right now it's sitting on her desk. I think it would make a great bookend on her bookshelf.
Now that I know the proper name of my new obsession, there' no stopping me.
This "e" will certainly not be my last victim.
Let's make a deal, if I say something ridiculous or completely incorrect, call me out! I can take it.
It is very addicting and I spelled it the same way in my first post about it until someone corrected me. I thought it was modge podge, too. You are not alone. Love the e.
ReplyDeleteSO cute! i love the "e"! and i love mod podge, too!!!! it is fabulous!
ReplyDeleteThanks for giving me the head's up on this - I think I'm guilty of the same offense. Off to correct some old blog posts now...
ReplyDeleteAH! I have never used it before and was sure it was modge podge. Oh, well! Love the e it is totally cute:)
ReplyDeleteYou call it whatever you want, it looks great. I honestly didn't notice that you said modge. I would have said something probably. It's kinda like that when you have a "thing" hanging out of your nose, a good friend would tell you.
ReplyDeleteThis looks great! I bought some mod podge when I started my blog, because I assumed if I was going to be a blogger, I needed it. I have yet to use, but you're inspiring me with your projects, so keep them coming!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the good laugh this morning. Honestly, I didn't even notice or I would have told you! I'm alway so focused on your great projects! Have a good weekend!
ReplyDeleteI totally thought it was Modge for the longest time - it just flows so much better doesn't it!
ReplyDeleteYou are addicted already! And I made the same mistake because my kids and their art teacher pronounced it incorrectly for a few years and so I did a post with the same spelling- and I am sure you will not be the last. I have even read posts by others with the same..at least you caught it soon enough!
ReplyDeleteI thought it was Modge Podge, too! LOL And this is a great little detail.
ReplyDeleteNow that is fabulous!! LOVE the fabric pattern on the letter.
ReplyDeleteI'll be honest, I didn't even notice! I always say "Modge Podge" so I'm surprised I got it right! Love the "e"!!!
ReplyDeleteI totally thought it was "modge podge" too! Oops! Guess we're all in the same boat! Love the e! Super cute! :)
