THROUGH THE EYES OF A CHILD

My daughter somehow got her hands on my camera at some point and captured some really great shots.
It was interesting to me what caught her eye.  Pretty flowers, of course and tons of texture.
I have a feeling if my boys got their hands on my camera,
I might find some lovely pictures of bugs, dirt piles and cobwebs.
Oh well, God made us different for a reason, right.

She was obviously wandering around our yard snapping away at what she thought was beautiful.

a dainty little flower weed...

some rustic logs....

a glazed flower pot....

a few colorful flowers on the front porch.....

a blooming oak leaf hydrangea....

some collected sea shells in her bedroom....

She took the following pictures at a local Conservatory.

things sure are looking up.....

a beautiful bloom.....

look but don't touch.....

pretty in pink....

I may have a budding photographer on my hands.
I think she knows how to work my camera better than I do.

Have a HAPPY Wednesday!
Did I mention school starts in 7 days.  Not that I'm counting.

  1. Wonderful pictures! My 10 year old loves photography and it's amazing to see what children come up with.

  4. I do think you have a budding photographer! One of the hardest things to teach is composition and, within that lesson, teaching someone to get in close and forget about the background is really tough. Your daughter already understands these two important principles - lots of talent there!

  6. Gorgeous shots- I love how digital cameras allow our children to become photographers at an early age!
