SO HERE'S THE PROBLEM

I went all scissor happy with my 9x12 Pottery Barn sisal rug.
Then I got all fabric glue crazy with said rug.
Now, I'm living with this.....

Can't really tell from here, right?

And this sure looks better....

than this....

However, I've still got a sticky situation on my hands (get it, sticky, glue).
So my plan is to go flat out paint crazy on the rug now.
Just the border, that is.
A little paint, mixed with some fabric medium and wah-lah, problem solved.
I know, I know, you're doubting me again.
Just hang out tight, I promise that it will turn out looking at least better than it does now.

However, right now, I must focus my attention on that 20 pound bird in my refrigerator.
How about you, are you as excited as I am about THANKSGIVNIG!
It just so happens to be my very favorite holiday.

  5. First you gave me courage to buy the rug I like. Then you gave me more courage to size the rug I like to what I need. Now you're scaring me with painting the edge. But I'll trust you to return me to the courage side of the street.
