MASTER BEDROOM MAKEOVER

I'm working with a new client on a whole house makeover.
She put it best when she said, and I quote "It looks like Kirkland's threw up all over my house!".
And she's talking about the 10 years ago Kirkland's.
I personally think Kirkland's has stepped up their game in the last couple of years.

Anyway, I digress.
We decided to take a room by room approach to the makeover and we are starting in the master suite.

Here is my plan for the master suite.

I found these awesome x-ottomans at the Ballard Design Outlet
and they became the jumping off point for the design.
I kind of fell in love with them and it's going to be a little difficult to part with them.

I have also been dying to use the John Robshaw fabric ever since I saw it on Pinterest months ago.

The rest of the room will have a nice neutral and traditional feel to it,
but the ottomans and the Robshaw fabrics will provide just the right amount of color we need.

The clients are ready to get started implementing the plan.
Hopefully I will have some good progress photos to share with you soon.

Who else is digging out of the snow today?

  2. That John Robshaw fabric is to die for and the benches would be hard for me to part with too! What an awesome and exciting project Andrea!

  6. Those benches are really great and I can see how they set the tone for the design. The Robshaw fabrics are a great mix of patterns too. I've fell in love with red all over again after doing my cafe curtains in our kitchen.
