NEW AND IMPROVED

So here's the big reveal........

You're looking at it!  My new blog design.  When I started blogging way back in January, I was so unsure of my path and intentions, I didn't want to invest much money in a custom blog design.  Once I really got into blogging and decided it was definitely something I want to continue doing, I started thinking about making my blog a little more unique.  Being the technically challenged individual that I am, I turned to Elizabeth at The Mustard Ceiling.  I have admired her blog from the get go and I knew she would do a fantastic job re-designing my blog.

I am over the moon excited about it and I hope you're digging it too.  My talented friend, Megan Krieg, did the original drawing of our home (featured in the header) and Elizabeth worked her magic and gave it life with some color.

My sister got me all frazzled suggesting people might think my blog is some sort of religious revival blog (not that there's anything wrong with that), but I wanted to be clear about the primary focus of the blog, the revival of an old home.

Anyway, enough chit chat, I know a blog post without pictures isn't the most exciting, but it's been a long day and I am beat.  Just returned from taking the kids to see the band "The Naked Karate Girls".  Once again, don't call social services on us, it was good, clean fun and I got some great pictures.  Plus I have tons of exciting stuff to show you next week.  My mom and I slaved away on several projects (until 2:00 a.m. last night, seriously!)  But for now, the weary must rest.  Have a great weekend and enjoy the sunshine.
