STYLE STALKING

I know this sounds a bit drastic, but I actually stalked followed a girl out of church a couple of weeks ago to ask her where she bought her dress.  I was completely paying attention during church, but once it was over, I hightailed it out of there to find the source.  I was pleasantly surprised when she told me it came from Old Navy.  NO, I din't rush out and hunt the dress down.  I waited very patiently for two whole days when I knew I would be near an Old Navy.  Low and behold, there it was and can you believe it fit me perfectly!  Wait, it gets better.  It was marked $34.50 (not on sale).  I hardly ever pay full price for clothes,  but I did stalk a girl and come to the store specifically for the dress.  So I took it up to the front to pay for it. It was my lucky day because the dress was on sale for $13.00, I got an extra 10% off because it was Tuesday and I had a $10 reward card to use.  My grand total was $2.27!!  Obviously, it was meant to be.  I desperately tried to find the dress on-line so I didn't have to put it on and take a picture of myself wearing it.  I couldn't find it and I figured if I was going to rant and rave about it, I should at least show it to you.

Awkward!

Speaking of Style Stalking, you must check out this new blog, House of Marlowe.  It belongs to a super stylish friend of mine.  We live very close to the school my children attend and normally, they walk home together.  It something they really enjoy doing and it makes them feel like they are "big kids".
But sometimes, I walk up to get them, just to see what stylish outfit Crissy is wearing. I have the confidence to put together a room, but an outfit is a different story.  Hence, my stalking.  But, not only can Crissy look effortlessly stylish, but she has an amazing eye for decor.  You'll see when you check out her blog.  If she doesn't show you her gorgeous home soon, I'm going to have to do a little house crashing and show you myself!

  2. I'm so jealous - I just saw that dress on Old Navy's website last Friday, and I wanted it. I went to Old Navy that same day, and I couldn't find it in the store, and now I can't find it on-line either. It's adorable! I think it will be so versatile, and it looks great on you! I'm glad you style stalked and scored a great dress for an awesome deal! Totally worth it all. :)

  3. Andrea, thanks so much for the mention! Although it gave me a good chuckle, I am honored that I am able to "fool" you into thinking I know what I'm doing every once in a while! :) Oh, and as you know I saw you in that dress and it was worth the stalking!!

  6. What?! That dress is too cute and you are a tiny little thing. Not sure we can still be friends - just kidding ;) I need to make a trip to old navy apparently.
