PROJECT UPDATE

Okay, so summer continues to kick my butt!
I sent my kids to the pool with a sitter yesterday to get a few hours of sanity!
I completely ignored my "To Do List" and plopped down on the catch to catch up on The Bachelorette.
Time well spent, my friends.  Sometimes you just need some good ole' reality TV to help you unwind.

Since I can't seem to find the time to get much done around here,
I thought I would share a little project progress with you.
Remember this plan from way back in February.
It has finally come together.

The client was tackling most of the projects herself and so it took a while to get it all done.
I think I speak for both of us, when I say it was worth the wait.
I went up last week to help add some finishing touches to the room.
I snapped a few quick pictures. I will be taking more to share soon.

This headboard is one of my favorite things about this room.
Our inspiration came from a headboard in Sundance Catalog.
It's no longer available, but the price tag was pretty steep.
We had it made for a fraction of the cost of the Sundance version.

The client did all the sewing herself and she did an excellent job.

I am excited to show you the rest of the room.
More pictures coming soon, I promise!
