A PLACE TO HANG YOUR HAT

I love the idea of adding unconventional art to a home.
I would categorize hats as unconventional art, wouldn't you?
The trend of decorating with hats is one that has certainly grown on me.

I love the simplicity of this arrangement.

And I'm digging this haphazard arrangement.

Sarah Richardson could hang a collection of dirty diapers
on the wall and make it look fabulous.
I love the way she frames the mirror with hats.

This vertical arrangement makes good use of the space.

I'm not usually one for messes, but this pile of hats makes me smile.

I have amassed a small collection of hats.
I am hardly ever out in the sun without sporting one.
They were previously stacked on top on one another on a shelf in my closet.
I added a few thumbtacks to the wall in my closet and put them on display.

How about you, are you on board with this trend?
Or do you prefer to keep your hats hidden?

  4. #1 I love hats and I think I have the same one on the top left in grey - is it from the Gap? It's one of my favorites. I'm certainly on board and you may have just given me some inspiration with this.

  5. I love the hats but in my house, if my husband had his way there would be baseball caps everywhere! He has quite a collection.

  9. I love hats but they are tucked away in my closet. Time to break them out and show them off!
