I kind of fell off the grid, didn't I?
Actually, I was just breaking in my new passport.

I took a little trip down to Jamaica, with this guy!

The weather was warm and the drinks were cold.
What more can you ask for.

I love my children dearly, but getting away to unwind and relax makes me a better mother.
I normally come back from a childless vacation ready to take on the world
(well, after a week of re-cooperating).
It's hard to reenter the "real world" after "not having a care in the world".

This is me "not having a care in the world".
Gosh that sure felt good!

  Back to reality.
My days have been filled to the brim lately.
I have been working like crazy on e-designs and local client projects.
I am looking forward to sharing more soon.

Oh, I also did a quick count of chairs in my home and I came up with 37.
Only seven of those are being stored in the basement. Yikes!
I snapped some pictures yesterday and I'll give you a glimpse of my chair hoarding this week.

  1. Amazing what time alone with your spouse in a tropical location does for your psyche isn't it? I just got back from a long weekend in St. Pete with my hubby, and it was so wonderful! Always nice to be reminded what it's like to just be a couple without all of the distractions of daily life! Wishing you a smooth re-entry into reality.

37 chairs? Now I'm going to have to do a chair count. But I think you have me beat by about 20+ chairs. ;-) Are these just lounging chairs, or dining room table chairs/kitchen chairs/etc...?

  2. How fun that you got away just the two of you! We have the hardest time making that happen despite our good intentions. And Jamaica! That's how to have a getaway!!!! Glad you had a wonderful time!

  3. 37 is a perfectly healthy amount of chairs to own.
and good for you!!!! so nice to get away with the man in your life!

  4. ahhh sounds and looks amazing... good for you! yeah and don't worry about your chair fetish - perfectly normal ;)

  5. Glad you had a great time! Getting away does the soul (and marriage) good. Now, use that passport to come and visit me! :)

  6. Lucky dog! Looks like a perfectly relaxing time :)

  7. It's so good to get away and unwind/unplug - good for you guys. And glad to see you back ;)

I love reading each and every one of your comments!
